Successful Burn Plan Training Events Across Kansas

Posted Friday June 14, 2024

We are thrilled to share that our recent Burn Plan Training events, hosted in partnership with the Kansas Grazing Lands Coalition (KGLC) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), have been a resounding success! Held across multiple locations in Kansas, these events brought together landowners, ranchers, producers, and burn contractors eager to enhance their knowledge and land management practices.

Highlights from the Events:

  • Engaged Attendees: We were delighted to see high participation and enthusiasm at each event. Landowners and ranchers took full advantage of the opportunity to learn about financial assistance for approved burn plans and deepen their understanding of the burn plan process.

  • Expert Insights: Our sessions were enriched by the expertise of seasoned professionals who shared invaluable knowledge on prescribed burns. Attendees gained practical insights that they can now apply to their own land management strategies.

  • Networking Opportunities: Participants had the chance to network with fellow practitioners and experts, fostering a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to responsible and effective land management.

Looking Forward

We are committed to continuing our mission of educating and empowering the Kansas land management community. The success of these events reinforces the importance of spreading knowledge and best practices for prescribed burning.

Stay tuned for more training sessions and events as we strive to provide ongoing support and education. Together, we can ensure that our land is managed sustainably and effectively.

Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the success of these training sessions. We look forward to seeing you at future events!
