Bill Sproul talks double-stocking and the research of annually burnt grass and double-stock yearlings on burnt grass vs. un-burnt grass.

He shares his thoughts on how research, the industry and economics have driven changes in the last 40 years.

Bill shares his thoughts on what is right for the tallgrass prairie and how communities are now starting to shift from doing the same thing over and over, due to the spread of invasive species.

He asks the question, to himself and others in his community, "When is the best time to burn?" Due to the spread of invasive species, throughout the Flint Hills, Bill continues to try different methods to control it, effectively and economically, for his ranch and others, while being a good steward of the land that he loves.
