Dale Strickler Webinar-Utilizing Cropland For Grazing
September 24, 2020 — 7:00 PMEvent Cost: Free
Join KGLC & USDA for a free webinar Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. (Central Time), featuring a discussion on cropland. For too long we have allowed cropland to sit idle between grain crops, often in the erroneous notion that we are “saving water” for the next crop to follow. This webinar will discuss how using cover crops or cropland reseeded to perennial forages in rotation can greatly increase not only the amount of grazing a piece of land may provide, but also how they can make the soil far more moisture efficient in the future.
Dale Strickler is a local agronomist, who will be providing this educational seminar!
