In the fifth video of our Educational Series, Bill talks about building trust with different agencies over the last few decades, beginning around 1985, when landowners and agencies started the long process of learning how to communicate with each other and work together.

As they began to converse, communication between agencies and landowners gradually began to improve and ranchers began opening the door and inviting agency representatives in for a seat at their table, when historically, an agency representative would be met at the door and never invited in.

He explains how getting out of comfort zones and having conversations with others outside of our own "cliques" has helped over the years to build trust between ranchers, landowners and all of the agencies involved in preservation and conservation of our natural resources on the prairie.
