The topic of the day will be “Profitable Ranching—Is It possible? Yes!”

Burke Teichert will be on hand to use his experiences in profitable ranches. Burke was born and raised on a family ranch in western Wyoming. He holds a B.S. in Ag Business—Brigham Young University, a M.S. in Ag Economics, emphasis on Farm and Ranch Management—University of Wyoming. Burke was a faculty member at University of Wyoming for one year and later part time at BYU for three years.  He was the Production Manager and occupied other positions for the Welfare Services Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  As the General Manager and Vice President for AgReserves, Inc., better known as Deseret Ranches, he was  involved in seven major ranch acquisitions in the U.S. Burke also was involved in the management of those and other farms and ranches in the U.S. as well as Canada and Argentina.
